This video features SSO Fellows Kim Falconer (flute), Joshua Oates (oboe), David McGregor (clarinet), Christopher Haycroft (bassoon) and Alice Yang (horn), performing Walter Wurzburger's Little Chamber Music for wind quintet.  The work was composed in 1946, when Wurzburger was a composition student at the Melba Conservatorium of Music in Melbourne. It was first premiered in Melbourne in 1949 or 1950, and we believe this to be the second performance in Australia.
