The Fireflies (Broučci), a children's musical created and performed in the Terezín Ghetto, was based on the 19th century children's book by Jan Karafiát. This reconstruction of the Terezín performance by Dr Lauren B. McConnell and her colleagues from Central Michigan University features Czech folk songs and recounts the comic misadventures of a firefly boy as he comes of age.
