This museum is one of the world's major Jewish museums. More than just a museum, it essentially covers all of the Jewish Quarter, with its various ancient synagogues, cemetery, exhibits, and archives. The museum collaborated with, and provided venues and research facilities for, the 'Out of the Shadows: Rediscovering Jewish Music and Theatre' festival (a Performing the Jewish Archive event).
