The Conservatory was a major partner in the 'Out of the Shadows: Rediscovering Jewish Music and Theatre' festival in the Czech Republic in September 2016, and hosted a number of performances. Gideon Klein, the composer whose works received a number of performances at the festival, was a student at the Conservatory prior to his deportation to Terezin.
